Dr. Rachel is a caring and passionate chiropractor that strives to think outside of the box to achieve optimal care for patients. She herself dealt with chronic Lyme disease for over 9 years, and spent almost 2 years completely bed ridden. ” I was strung along the western medicine block for years, which left me sicker and sicker by the day.”
It was with the help of a chiropractor and a naturopath that she began to slowly get her life back. “I never thought that I would even be able to finish school, let alone practice because I was so sick all the time, but I just kept going with God’s help and he continues to bless me to this day in helping others.” She understands the value of looking at the whole picture of health, and believes that the patient’s condition will determine the course of treatment. “Individual needs can differ with each patient, and one treatment might work well for one but not for another.
I went through dozens of different treatments searching for answers, so looking functionally at the entire body is key.” Everything she does in her care programs is catered towards regaining balance within the body so that it can heal itself, which is how it is originally designed. She doesn’t treat specific “diagnosis” which can be in themselves, identity stealers and instead focuses on all the ways the body might be imbalanced leading to the symptoms.
Dr. Rachel’s personal experience with Lyme Disease, scoliosis, brain fog, fatigue as well as chronic migraines and TMJ/airway resistance sparked her passion for treating these conditions and many others with integrated alternative care. It is thanks to a chiropractor that treated her with Craniopathy and CBT that she started to rebuild. After seeing the needle begin to move after so many years, she began to search for more answers and sought out further treatments. This gave her new confidence and inspired her to begin her studies in these fields.
There is nothing more rewarding than seeing your patient’s health renewed. I truly believe that God allowed me to go through all of this suffering so that I might have a deep level of compassion for those who have difficult health issues. You cannot give what you don’t have, or what you haven’t gone through. Pain a teacher. It allows us to examine the areas that need looking into. Pain is inevitable at some point in our life, but suffering is optional.
